Day camps and resident camps are powerful, positive experiences for young people. Community living away from home, in an outdoor, recreational setting provides a foundation for tremendous growth. Best of all, camp is fun. Great friends, exciting activities, and an atmosphere that lets girls be themselves are just three of the reasons why camp is so much fun. |

Susitna Council offers a variety of camp experiences for girls and their families. Camps are open to all girls regardless of Girl Scout membership.
At camp, your child will not only build memories that last a lifetime, but she will learn to be self-reliant, to relate to and care about others, to grow in creativity and awareness of the world around her, and to grow as an individual and member of the group.
We look forward to seeing your child at camp this summer!

Camp Togowoods, in the Mat Su Valley, offers resident and day camp for girls ages 6 to 17 as well as family camp. Winding Trails Day Camp is in Anchorage and serves girls 5-11 and offers before and after camp childcare. Camp Kenai Lake is in Cooper Landing and offers a resident camp program for girls ages 6 to 17.

Financial Aid for Campers
Susitna Council has a campership fund to provide financial aid to girls who need assistance to be able to attend summer camp. Camperships may be awarded for resident camp or for day camp. Susitna Girl Scouts who participate in the Girl Scout cookie program may earn cookie credit discounts for summer camp. Click here to read more about cookie credits.
Camper Health Forms
All campers need to bring a completed health form to camp. Click on the name of the camp your camper is attending to download the health history and/or physical exam form.
